This original decanter with its rounded shape contains a litre of Amarone grappa, one of the most sought after distilled drinks of the Alexander collection.

CHARACTERISTICS

Amarone is the robust and excellent wine of Valpolicella that is aged in oak barrels for over 4 years. It is long-lived and characterised by its significant structure and the raisin scent. The grappa exactly reproduces the main characteristics of the wine. The distillation is carried out in steam alembics and it is followed by a few months of refininement in stainless-steel tanks.

Grappa can help digestion, so it is perfect after meals. It can be drunk cold or even chilled. It is an ingredient for cocktails and long drinks. It can accompany the tasting of dark chocolate. It is traditionally used to correct the espresso coffee and, in the Veneto and Friuli, to dilute the last drops of coffee, remaining on the bottom of the cup (Resentin).
